For quilters, the new BERNINA Integrated Stitch Regulator (BISR) delivers consistent stitch lengths while you vary your sewing speed. It works across quilting applications, including ruler work, giving you greater freedom without sacrificing beautifully even results.

Embroidery placement becomes remarkably precise with 2-, 3- and 4-Point Placement with Morphing. Simply identify points on your hooped fabric and position your embroidery or quilting design exactly where you want it – particularly useful when aligning designs with existing shapes, seams and quilt blocks. 

The B 790 ULTRA also brings sophisticated computerised quilting capabilities to the embroidery module. Customizable Quilt Designs (BQM) can be scaled without the usual limitations, with adjustable stitches per inch, while Crop and Connect tools let you tailor and combine quilting designs to fit your project. 

Creativity extends to conventional sewing too. Jumbo Stitch lets you resize stitches from 25% right up to 500%, while Stitch Designer lets you draw your own stitch patterns directly on the touchscreen. Combined with Sideways Motion and 360° sewing, you can create striking decorative effects far beyond conventional forward stitching. 

Practical technology makes all of this easier to use. Automatic Stitch Plate Recognition identifies the sensor-equipped stitch plate as soon as it's installed, while the BERNINA Pinpoint Laser shows exactly where the needle will enter the fabric. Automatic needle threading, a 7-inch colour touchscreen and built-in Help Center further simplify everyday operation. 

With 254mm (10") of space to the right of the needle, sewing speeds up to 1,000 stitches per minute and the BERNINA Hook with its large-capacity Jumbo Bobbin, the B 790 ULTRA has the space and performance for ambitious sewing, quilting and embroidery projects.
