Getting started is simple thanks to the illuminated One-Step BERNINA Air Threader, which makes threading the looper quick and effortless. The integrated needle threader takes care of the needles too, so you can spend less time setting up and more time sewing.

Seven stitch variations give you the flexibility to create narrow and wide coverstitches as well as chainstitching. From professional-looking hems on T-shirts and sportswear to decorative topstitching and creative finishes, the L 620 is particularly at home with stretch and knitted fabrics.

There's plenty of control too. The powerful DC motor delivers speeds of up to 1,200 stitches per minute, while adjustable speed and stitch-by-stitch sewing make detailed work easier. You can programme the needle to stop up or down, and the BERNINA Free Hand System (FHS) lets you raise the presser foot with the knee lifter while keeping both hands on your project.

A generous 120mm space to the right of the needle, bright LED lighting and the included slide-on table provide a comfortable working area for larger projects.
