The free-arm design gives you much greater flexibility when embroidering items that can be difficult to handle on a conventional flat-bed machine, making the VR particularly useful for personalising clothing, pockets, sleeves, bags and accessories. Its generous 200 × 200mm embroidery area provides plenty of room for larger designs, while stitching speeds of up to 1,000 stitches per minute help you work efficiently. 

A built-in LED needle pointer helps you position designs accurately by showing the needle-drop position before stitching begins. The large 7-inch colour LCD touchscreen allows you to preview and edit designs directly on the machine, including resizing, rotating, mirroring and adding lettering. 

There's plenty built in to get creative with, including 305 embroidery patterns, 20 lettering styles and 140 frame patterns. Thread colour sorting can rearrange the stitching order of multicolour designs to reduce unnecessary thread changes, while the four-spool stand makes switching colours more convenient. 

For anyone looking to expand beyond embroidery, the VR can also be converted for free-motion sewing and quilting using the appropriate free-motion kit, giving it additional creative versatility.
